Swan Diva at the New York Audio Show
The Swan Diva speaker, which won the Exception Value Award at the 2000 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, USA, recently became a star at the New York exhibition. From May 11th to 13th, at the Home Entertainment 2001 (2001 Home Entertainment Audio Show) held at the Hilton Hotel on Fifth Avenue in New York, the American Dolby Laboratories, which enjoys a high reputation in the world audio industry, put the Swans Diva 5.1HT home The Cinema System was chosen as the only demo speaker system in its booth to showcase its latest Dolby Digital surround sound technology.
The Home Entertainment 2001 Audio Show in New York was organized by Stereophile ("Stereo Lover"), a famous audio magazine in the United States. In the past, the exhibition held by the magazine was called Hi-Fi Show, which was also a very influential exhibition event in the international audio circle. The Hi-Fi Show, which has not been held in New York for five years, returned to New York this year and changed the name to "Home Entertainment" Audio Show, incorporating audio/home theater into the broader concept of home entertainment. Compared with the original name, the color of "fever" is obviously toned down, hoping to make the audio fever activity in a relatively small circle reach the common people. But first and foremost at the show are the most prestigious companies in the international audio world. Swan Group from China officially launched the latest home theater systems Diva 4.1HT and Diva 5.1HT at the exhibition.
Diva 5.1HT consists of front main channel speaker Diva 5.1HT-SE, front center channel speaker Diva C3-SE and rear surround speaker Diva R3-SE, and optional Swans top active subwoofer Diva Sub 250 -SE. The development of this group of speakers is based on Swan's ten years of electro-acoustic experience, and is also known as a high-resolution audio and video system. Its 5-channel woofers are exactly the same, all using Swans M series speakers. This speaker adopts a new high-strength integrated ultra-thin aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm material, which has very good rigidity and dynamic stability. The surface of the diaphragm is coated with a special damping coating, combined with a high-compliance and high-damping rubber ring, which further improves the acoustic characteristics. In addition, Kapton voice coil frame without eddy current loss, symmetrical magnetic field drive technology, high-strength metal cone frame, and Small/Thiele parameter optimization design are all guarantees that the speaker has high dynamics and low distortion. On the top of the main speaker, a TN28 streamlined zero-reflection neodymium-iron-boron high-power tweeter is used, which has high sensitivity and good axial and non-axial frequency characteristics.
The outstanding quality of the Diva 5.1HT digital cinema speaker is the only reason why Dolby Laboratories, the world leader in audio technology, decided to use it in its showroom. The demonstration room of the Dolby Laboratory is Room 941 of the hotel. During the exhibition, the crowd was so crowded that the audience had to wait in line. As a result, Room 941 was hailed by many audiences as one of the best sounding rooms. Naturally, the appeal of the Dolby audio format is a big reason, but it's all through Swan' Diva.
Swan's influence doesn't stop there. At the same exhibition, other well-known audio companies used Swan's loudspeaker units in their exhibits. Totem Acoustic Company (Totem Company) introduced the latest New Wind/Hawk top speaker system using Swans D8 speaker unit at the exhibition; another well-known American company, Coincident, used Swans R2C tweeter in its latest model of speakers superior.
In the noble business district at the junction of Fifth Avenue and 86th Street, not far from the exhibition, in Lyric Fi-Fi, the most famous high-end audio store in New York, Swan speakers have officially become the products of the agency. Displayed in the store together with Swans products are the famous Burmester (Sound of Berlin) in Germany, B & W in the United Kingdom, Genesis in the United States...etc.
Swan once again won the respect of the international audio industry with its own technical strength.
